SEG has been a leading force shaping the arts and cultural foundation of Newcastle and is dedicated to renewing the landscape of professional theatre in the Hunter region. By attracting the very best of Australia's national talent to the region, SEG is proud to be providing; professional development opportunities for emerging artists; employment for local and national creative artists; dynamic community engagement; local business partnerships; connections for local artists with national and international networks; all while providing world class entertainment.
Founded in 2007 by Producer, Director, Writer and Performer, Daniel Stoddart, SEG is driven by a simple ethos, to promote and elevate live theatre as a professional industry and as a strong economic contributor to the City of Newcastle.
